Weight Loss

  • Semaglutide: is a revolutionary GLP-1 receptor agonists that were originally developed for patients with Type 2 diabetes, but when providers and pharmaceutical developers noticed how much weight their patients were losing, they began to study GLP-1 medications exclusively for weight loss. A series of clinical trials known as the STEP clinical trials demonstrated that almost 90% of patients lost 5% or more of their body weight. There is no other weight loss drug on the market that compares. The FDA approved Semaglutide (Ozempic), for weight loss, in June of 2022.
  • HOW DO GLP-1 DRUGS WORK?

They acts like GLP-1 (a gut hormone) to:

    Increase insulin production
    Decrease glucagon synthesis
    Delay gastric emptying
Suppress hunger. It signals your brain that you are full so you can lose weight without feeling like you are depriving yourself.

  • WHAT ARE POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS?

Commonly reported GI side effects - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain site reactions, Fatigue, and Headaches.

MICC (Lipotropic Injections)

MICC combines several beneficial compounds:

  • Components: L-methionine, inositol, choline, and cyanocobalamin (B12).
  • Function: Aids in fat breakdown during metabolism, known as "fat burning" injections.
  • Mental Health: Inositol and choline improve mental function and alleviate depression.
  • Skin and Nail Health: Methionine enhances skin elasticity, strengthens hair, and nails.
  • Detoxification: Supports detox processes, protects cells from pollutants, and aids in heavy metal chelation.
  • Cellular Benefits: Inositol supports cellular signaling and cell membrane integrity.
  • Metabolic Role: Choline acts as a precursor to acetylcholine, aids in lipid metabolism, and prevents liver fat accumulation.
  • Vitamin Support: Cyanocobalamin (B12) supports hematopoiesis, neural function, DNA/RNA production, and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
  • Additional Benefits: Enhances iron function and assists in choline synthesis.

Glutathione – The Body’s Master Antioxidant

L-Glutathione, or simply glutathione, is a potent antioxidant composed of amino acids' cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid. It serves multiple vital functions in the body:

  • Mitochondrial Function: Vital for mitochondrial function and DNA production.
  • Brain Health: Crosses the blood-brain barrier to remove toxins like mercury from brain cells.
  • Immune Support: Crucial for supporting immune function and certain enzyme activities.
  • Cellular Functions: Aids in metabolism, sperm cell formation, tissue building, and repair.
  • Antioxidant Properties: Acts as a powerful antioxidant, combating free radicals that cause oxidative stress and damage cells, contributing to aging and degenerative illnesses.
  • Natural Production: Unlike most antioxidants, glutathione can be synthesized in the liver.
  • Distribution: Present in every cell and most mammalian tissues, also found in foods like spinach and avocados.
  • Supplementation: Dietary supplements like curcumin, N-acetylcysteine, selenium, silymarin, and vitamins C and E support glutathione production.
  • Age and Lifestyle Impact: Levels naturally decline with age and are reduced by stress, malnutrition, and environmental toxins.
  • Antioxidant Protection: Helps combat free radicals, reducing oxidative stress.
  • Detoxification: Supports liver health by removing pollutants, drugs, and naturally occurring toxins.
  • Liver Support: Protects against liver cell damage caused by free radicals.
  • Metabolic Health: May improve insulin resistance.
  • Anti-inflammatory Effects: Promotes a balanced inflammatory response.

NAD+

NAD+ injections: IV, IM, or Subq, have gained popularity for their potential health benefits, such as:

  • Increased Energy and Metabolism: NAD+ plays a crucial role in cellular energy production, so increasing its levels can lead to a boost in energy!
  • Improved Brain Function: NAD+ is essential for brain health, and supplementing it may improve cognitive functions like memory, focus and mental clarity (It is also being studied for its potential to help with neurodegenerative diseases).
  • Anti-Aging Effects: NAD+ levels decline as we age, and this decline is associated with various age-related issues. By increasing NAD+ levels, it's believed that some of the effects of aging can be slowed down or even reversed, particularly at the cellular level, including DNA repair.
  • Pain Recovery: NAD+ has shown potential in reducing inflammation, which can contribute to pain relief.
  • Cellular Repair: NAD+ is involved in DNA repair, which is vital for maintaining Healthy cells.
  • Addiction Recovery: Some newer studies are pointing toward NAD+ therapy as a help with addition recovery, as it may reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
